PARKINSON'S FACES PROJECT
Nikolas Koukoulakis
Sometimes, a single photograph can stir a range of emotions. For Nikolas Koukoulakis, capturing an image of Alexandra sparked his creativity after a period of inactivity in photography. This particular picture inspired the idea that later developed into the Parkinson's Faces Project, a collection of monochromatic photos displaying the various faces affected by Parkinson's.
A SON'S JOURNEY
George M.
Dr George Ackerman. A Son’s Journey from Parkinson’s Disease Caregiver to Advocate. A Son’s Journey from Parkinson’s Disease Caregiver to Advocate. This book is, first, a memoir of and praise for my mother, Sharon, who was my best friend through both our lives and explores her journey with PD. The book is a heartfelt recollection of the beginnings of her Parkinson’s disease symptoms and my caregiving to support through her battle with PD.

VOICES OF RESILIENCE I + II
Conversations with Parkinson’s Disease Warriors, Caregivers, and Advocates
This book of interviews aims to raise awareness and hope for a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. I contacted individuals worldwide to obtain the interviews because PD does not discriminate and affects individuals, families, and communities worldwide. I believe we must be family in this fight for a cure. When I learned that approximately 1 million individuals are diagnosed in the United States and over 10 million worldwide, I felt that many other journeys needed to be shared. So many inspired me to keep advocating for a cure!
