WOMAN and PARKINSON 2025

Women & Parkinson’s Event 2025: Stronger Together

On Friday, May 23, 2025, a special event will take place at Recreatiepark De Dikkenberg in Bennekom: the Women & Parkinson’s Event. This unique gathering is specifically designed for women living with Parkinson’s disease, offering an inspiring day filled with connection, knowledge, and movement.

Connecting and Inspiring

Parkinson’s affects women differently than men, making it invaluable to share experiences with others facing the same challenges. During this event, participants will have the opportunity to connect with each other and share experiences.

A Day of Insights and Activities

The program has been carefully set up with a guest speaker, interactive workshops, and time to connect. One of the highlights is a session on urban poling with Parkinson’s, led by Parkinson BoXing Netherlands under the guidance of Hans Louwerse. Additionally, Judith Tielen, Member of the House of Representatives will engage in discussions about women’s health and the specific challenges Parkinson’s presents.

Stronger Together

This event is not only about learning but also about enjoyment and relaxation. Participants will be welcomed with coffee and a treat, and a delicious lunch buffet is included. Together, the women will experience the power of community and get a day with a smile.

Practical Information

The event will take place from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Registration is available via the website of Wendy’s Parkinson Journey.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be inspired, connect with others, and gain valuable insights. Together, we are stronger!
